2022年的申请季，基本结束。美国绝大部分商学院申请的最后一轮也都截止。虽说美国研究生申请过程中，少不了面试环节。但商学院的申请过程中，面试环节和其他专业有所不同。大部分商学院的面试环节视为申请材料的一部分。通常采用Kira 面试或Zoom面试。本篇文章，老杜就介绍一下商学院面试过程中需要做哪些准备？

很多申请过美国商学院的学生，表示面试题目完全出圈，根本不是自己准备的一些问题。抱怨“是谁出的题这么的难，到处都是正确答案”。

这是因为大家把商学院的面试，尤其是Kira 面试想象得太正规，太正式所造成的。首先，我们先了解一下面试的目的。

第一、面试的目的是考察申请人的表达能力，以及沟通能力；

第二、通过面试了解学生的应变能力；

第三、通过面试考察学生的情商（EQ）；

第四、通过面试考察学生的心理素质。

如果学校采用“Kira”面试方式，通常不是真人面试，而是提前录制好的题目，从题库中随机出问题。一般口语回答的问题在两至三个问题，每个问题回答60秒。部分学校会附加即时写作题目，写作时间一般控制在5-10分钟内完成。采用Kira Talent 系统的学校如，华盛顿圣路易斯大学，约翰霍普金斯大学，凯泽西储大学，布兰迪斯大学等。

下面说明一下Kira 面试系统的流程。一般在完成网申后，通常学校申请体统会给你的申请注册的邮箱里发一封Kira 面试的邀请函。（约翰霍普金斯大学商学院除外，该校要在递交申请前做Kira 面试）。

第二步、收到Kira 面试的邀请函后，通常邀请函里会注明Deadline。

切记千万别错过时间。你可以点击“check in"进入你所申请学校的专属页面。下面以华盛顿圣路易斯大学为例。

说明整个面试过程需要30-60分钟（正式面试时间不是很长），要求设备计算机有摄像头和麦克风。

第三步、注册Kira系统账户，注册完完成后，你会在你的申请邮箱里收到Kira系统的注册完成通知信。如下图

再次登录Kira系统，显示你所申请课程和学校的专属页面。可以完成以下操作。

第四步，在调试好设备，保证网络、网速通畅的情况下，Kira面试系统提供不限次数的练习。申请人第一，可以通过练习来测试计算机设备、网络是否正常。第二可以熟悉整个面试的流程和问题类型。待做好全部准备后可以正式开始视频面试。

关于Kira面试问题，各个学校都不同，练习中的问题不代表你要面试学校的问题。通常为两种方式：第一种，学校只有面试题目，每个题目回答时间限制在60秒，也就是一分钟内回答完问题，通常会有3-6到问题出现，第二种方式，问题加即时写作。有些学校在问问题后，会有写作问题，通常时间限制在5分钟内。面试人员要求在5分钟内在系统上写完答案。

那么，我们再看看学校会出什么样的问题？

一、华盛顿圣路易斯大学（WUSTL）

华盛顿圣路易斯Olin商学院Kira Video面试，安排6道口语回答题目，每到问题有30秒准备，45秒回答，和一道5分钟的即时写作。 上文讲过，学校面试的目的和考察方向，所以问题不含专业问题，但涉及类似“Why Major ”的问题。

A）Why School 问题

类似这样的问题，会问到

1） Share with us what interests you about St. Louis?

2）How would you get involved in Olin after graduation？

3）One place in St Louis that you are excited to visit.

4）Describe the top 3 reasons you are attracted to Olin

5）How will Olin prepare you for your career ?

B) Why Major 问题 （以金融硕士为例）

1）Traits and skills that will help you become a professional in MSF（金融硕士）？

2）How did your undergraduate degree prepare you for the MSF program?

3）What do you think is one of the most important traitsfor an individual to be successful in finance industry？

4) Which track are you interested in the MSF program?

C) 个人介绍问题（Introduce yourself)

1）Share interesting things about you that others may not know (not mentionin the application process)?

2） 3 words describe yourself.

3) According to your background, what can you contribute to the course and other students?

4) Outside of your resume, introduce yourself.

D) 个人能力和经历问题 （含职业规划）

1）What makes you a competitive candidate？

2）How did you develop an interest in data analytics?

3）What impact would you make in financial market and how do you keep relevant for your career？

4） Describe how you gained an interest in financial service industryand how you plan to make an impact within it.

5）Think about a leader or a mentor you have worked with, what do you hope to learn theprogram that will help you implement the skills and attributes you most admire?

E）考察情商问题，此类问题涵盖个人兴趣

2）If you could have a meal that is importantto you, who will it be and what you will talk about？

写作：基本是请解决一个“进退两难”的情境（分享四个题目）

1: A student is selectedas Class President and is scheduled to accept the position and speak to the entire student body on Friday. On Wednesday it is discovered that the student has not completed a self-study course requirement that ismandatory for all student senate representatives. The course takes a weekto be completed. Given that the student has not started the coursework and will not be able to finish before the announcement on Friday, please describe what actions should be taken inorder to resolve the situation.

2: For the first time inmany years the basketball team has made it to the championship game. In order for a player to be eligible they must have a “C” grade average. A few days prior to the game the coach learns that his two star players have dropped below the required grade average.According to policy, they should be suspended from the team， but if they are suspended, they won’t play in the championship and the whole team is depending on them.What should the coach do?

3:You have been offered anopportunity to interview for an internship with a company that is on yourtarget list. The interview is on Wednesday at 10 AM on the north side of town. On Tuesday, you receive an offer from your top choice company to interview onthe same day at 11 AM. The companies are 45 minutes apart by car. This is yourdream opportunity, however,you have already made a commitment to the other company. What do you do?

4: A student has been extremely busy trying to wrap up a project for his/her internship employer, so unfortunately the student has not devoted a sufficient amount of time toward the completion of his/her final paper. The final paper is due tomorrow and the student still has not finished the paper, but the supervisor of the internshiphas requested that he/she join the team out at a local restaurant to celebrate the finalization of the project. Faced with this dilemma, what should the student do?

二、布兰迪斯大学（Brandeis University)

该校比较厚道，两道口语加一道写作。

口语题目汇总：（基本围绕你个人背景展开，和Why School、Why Major

1）How you grow, and what skills would you like to obtain when you studies in Brandeis IBS?
2）If you could spend the day shadowing someone, who and why?

写作题目 （基本考察情商为主）

1）What kind of meal would you like to learn and cook perfectly, and why?

3）What is the last book you read? Why did you choose it? Did it live upto your expectation?

三、 约翰霍普金斯 （Johns Hopkins University）

仅两道口语题目（30秒准备，60秒作答）

一方面喜欢问解决冲突问题（涵盖Team Conflicks)

1）Tell me about an experience when you met a problem but had no one to ask, what's the outcome and what did you learn？

2) You are the team leader of a group. Your team members with different culture havethe difficulties in understanding each other. What will you do?

3) Tell me about a time when you received more credit than you deserved for a successful group project. What was the outcome and whatdid you learn?

4) Tell me about a time when you needed to give someone criticism and you knew they wouldn't take it well. what was the outcomes and what did you learn?

该校比较喜欢文化差异的问题

1） If you have unlimited funds and cIan travel to anywhere in the world, where do you want to go and why?

2) Your friend offers you a job in another country,which country would you choose, what job would you choose and why?

3) If you have the chance to spend one hour with global famous celebrities, but he cannot say anything, who will you choose and why?

当然个人经历类似问题也会问到 （通常是问失败或成功经历）

1）An experience once you failed to keep your promise,what's the result and what did you learn?

2） Tell us an experience when you meet setbacks thatyou cannot solve. What's the result? What you learn from it?

第四，该校“人文情怀”比较重，也会问到“ Humanity”

1）If you can run an organization and benefit some groups of people, who do you thinkwill be benefited?

2） Do you think you are the citizen of the world?

3）If you are a CEO of a great cooperation, whichproduct/service you would like to offer, why?

如果学校采用“Zoom会议视频”系统，通常是安排真人面试，面试官有些是招生办公室的工作人员，有些是委托已经在读的学生进行面试。采用“Zoom会议视频”的学校有如，罗切斯特大学、杜兰大学、等。一般收到面试通知函后，会在系统上选择时间，待面试时间确认后，可登录Zoom系统，调试好设备后，进行面试。比如罗切斯特大学。

四、罗切斯特大学（Rochester University)

该校采用Zoom会议视频系统，会安排助理面试，通常面试问题有6-8题，和Q&A环节，一般15-30分钟完成面试。题目主要个人经历、Why Major, Why School 和职业规划为主。

老杜例举四所学校的面试真题。那么回答问题的原则如下：

第一、当问到个人简历、尽量要多阐述你递交申请简历以外的个人经历和特点；切忌把简历在面试中重新复述一遍；

第二、问到Why School，更多的是要从该校的课程入手回答课程如何满足你的需求，而不是什么该校排名高，地理位置好之类的理由；

第三、Why Major 问题，要关注该校的课程设置，有哪些Tracks或Concentrations, 你所关注哪个方向，将来要学习什么解决哪些问题？

第四、遇到生僻题目，掌握“扣题离题”的原则；所谓“扣题离题”原则，即先回答对方问题，再把回答内容转移到自己熟悉的内容里。
